can I play too?

1. Water (shower, bath, ocean, river, lake, even doing the dishes sometimes…)
2. Sex. Can’t help it– I almost always have to get up and write stuff down instead of falling asleep. Usually completely unrelated to the moment.
3. Tea. Peppermint, Earl Grey, Orange Pekoe, Lapsang Souchung; each has it’s own creative stimulus effect.
4. Music. But so, so random– it might be Regina Spektor, Al Green, Hip Hop. Right now it’s EmmyLou Harris , MGMT or FleetFoxes.
5. Other people’s blogs about writing or conversation with my writing friends.
6. Long drives by myself.

Aw, thanks Wyrdd! And don’t rush it, do it when/if you feel like it. You, too, Marta. I had to think about it for a while, too. I enjoyed this meme, though; especially because I hadn’t thought about inspiration in a long time. I needed to.
