Apple-shaped women are bullies.
This is not an arbitrary comment, nor a dig at a particular woman. My theory has developed over years of observation and personal experience. My theory goes thus:
Apple-shaped women do not develop the self-consciousness that pear-shaped or big-all-over women have. We pear-shapes have to watch that our butts don’t knock over vases, side tables, and small children from simple motions that others might take for granted, such as bending over. Not to mention the fact that we are always conscious of how our butts look while bending over.
Another factor: All the women who have intimidated me over the years (Tammy in middle school, the woman at the birthday party last year, et al ) have the same body type. You guessed it, apple. These two observations combined lead me to the conclusion that apple-shaped women are bullies, while pear-shaped women are more empathetic.
So, that’s my theory. What, you wanna make something of it?

I just had to share some wisdom given to me by an old and now deceased woman. “Never trust a woman with skinny ankles!”- Charlotte Campbell.
My Grandfather used to say, “Never marry a skinny woman.” The theory behind this was that they would be poor cooks. Sadly, this gem seems flawed. However, I do know where some pretty good restaurants are.

I thought small people overcompensated and became and egotistical tyrants. In order to accept this one I will need proof. What is the source of this perception? How small? Do you mean short,thin,both or either?
Oh! What about people with red hair. Is there any truth to the rumor that we are mean?

I laughed when I red this because I’m a tall, apple-shaped redhead and I have terrible self esteem.
In fact most of the girls who’ve treated me like crap have had the big swooshy hips.
Perhaps this is a Sherri-centric phenomenon.

Everyone always thinks that their body shape is the worst one — but let me tell you a few things. What kind of shape do guys want? No, they don’t want a flabby stomach, they want a nice soft butt that they can hold onto. That’s what they LIKE.
In all the tabloid magazines, they show pictures of celebrities on the beach — how many of them are apple shaped? None of them. No one wants to have a stomach. If J Lo had all her fat in her stomach, she wouldn’t have even had her career. Why? Because everyone wants flat abs, and as an apple imagine that no matter how hard you try, you can never win in the end because you’ll never look like what society wants you to. My sister and I have both battled anorexia. I still believe that if all my fat were in my butt and thighs, more guys would have wanted to date me AND i wouldn’t have any self-esteem problems. You guys should be proud of how you look. You’ll be able to wear bikinis for the rest of your lives.

I must point out, though, that I can hide my stomach with a one-piece bathing suit, but there’s nothin’ gonna hide these thighs. I’d have to wear pants in the pool.
I say, love who you are, no matter what shape. Screw the media! We can’t tell what shape all those celebrities are, anyway, because they’re all scrawny.

I am an apple shaped (type 1 diabetic) with lots of natural red highlights. Everyone has always oohed and aahhed over my legs and boobs. I just respond with ” well at least you can button your jacket and your skirts dont fall off. LOL Yes, it has happned to me. I am thankful for my assetts and have learned to hide the non-flattering parts of me. It’s all about perspective in my opinion.
Self esteem was an issue growing up, but I was never a bully.

I wish I was a pear shape!!!!! They are truly lovely and womanly!!!!!!!!!!! Not a lemon with tooth picks. I think apple woman have less self esteem, but maybe thats just me……………… I never feel attractive and haven’t since I hit puberty, I am of normal weight but I always look overweight since my weight goes to my face,back, waist and upperbody…..not very attractive………I have become very anti-social because of my self esteem issues and never date because of it. I always hear men talk about how they love big butts and thick thighs, how often do you hear a man talk about how much he loves a woman with back fat and no butt………..lol
Oh yeah I meant to add in the above post about the “bully” part, that I am not a bully nor have I been, BUT most apple shaped woman have more testosterone in their system and that might have something to do with the aggression part….dunno…..Not all apple shaped women are bullies though of course!!!!!!!
